1. Point-to-Point
Connection -
(i) It provides a dedicated
link between the two computers (or devices).
Dedicated means the message is
communicated between the two devices. One of them is a sender and the other is
a receiver.
(ii) Total bandwidth is used for sending the message.
In multipoint connections,
more than two computers or devices share a connection.
Spatially Shared –
Several computers share a link simultaneously.
Temporal Shared – Each
device can use the link for time spam. After that, the next device can use the
link.
